Magico proudly introduces the S7 2026, the monumental conclusion to its critically acclaimed S Series. A 384-pound, five-driver, three-way loudspeaker, the S7 represents the most ambitious and definitive realization of the platform—bringing together years of research, engineering, and listening experience into a single uncompromising design.
The modern S Series was redefined with the debut of the S3 in 2023, followed by the more ambitious S5, and then the remarkably compact S2. With the arrival of the S7, that journey reaches its pinnacle—bold, imposing, and engineered to deliver reference-level performance worthy of the series’ legacy.
Advanced Engineering
The S7 is the product of an extensive research-and-development program that introduced engineering methodologies now fundamental to Magico’s flagship M Series. During development, engineers employed a Near-Field Scanner (NFS) robot to measure the loudspeaker’s acoustic behavior across the entire three-dimensional sphere surrounding it, producing a complete acoustic map of the speaker’s output.
This comprehensive data enabled precise refinement of both on-axis and off-axis performance, allowing the S7 to approach the theoretical ideal of a multi-way loudspeaker—delivering sound reproduction defined by exceptional accuracy, coherence, and realism.
Architecture Designed for Silence
At the foundation of the S7 is a massive aluminum enclosure shaped through advanced 3D simulation to minimize internal resonances while maximizing rigidity. The curved front baffle reduces diffraction, while Magico’s proprietary damping techniques and laser-vibrometer analysis eliminate even minute cabinet vibrations, ensuring the enclosure contributes no audible coloration to the musical signal.
The optimized structure also increases internal volume from 135 liters to 180 liters compared to the previous S Series flagship, extending bass response by an additional 5Hz while maintaining sensitivity. The result is deeper, more authoritative low-frequency performance without compromise.
Five Drivers, One Voice
Driver technology lies at the core of the S7. Its Nano-Tec Gen 8 cones—aluminum honeycomb cores bonded to graphene-reinforced carbon-fiber skins—deliver exceptional stiffness, low mass, and superior damping for extremely low distortion. A newly engineered third-generation driver chassis further improves force distribution, suspension geometry, and airflow, enhancing both accuracy and reliability.
The five-driver array consists of a diamond-coated pure-beryllium tweeter derived from the M Series, a 6” Nano-Tec Gen 8 midrange driver, and three vertically aligned 10” woofers designed to reduce floor-bounce effects and smooth in-room response. All drivers are unified through Magico’s Elliptical Symmetry Crossover (ESXO), a three-way design with acoustical-target Linkwitz-Riley slopes and premium components from Mundorf and Duelund, ensuring seamless coherence across the audible spectrum.
